Commercial Driver’s License A Truck Driver Jobs in Pocono Pines, PA at Altemose Paving & Excavating LLC.
We are currently seeking a dependable and hardworking Class A CDL Driver to join our asphalt paving crew. This position is more than just driving — we are looking for a team player who is willing to assist the crew and help keep projects running efficiently.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate CDL Class A trucks and equipment
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Keep truck and equipment clean and well maintained
- Haul asphalt, materials, and equipment between jobsites
- Follow all DOT and company safety regulations
- Assist paving crew as needed throughout the workday
- Load, unload, and secure equipment/materials properly
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and crew members
Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL license
- Clean driving record preferred
- Experience in asphalt paving, construction, or heavy hauling strongly preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- Must be reliable, punctual, and safety conscious
- Willingness to work as part of a team and not remain idle in the truck during downtime
- Ability to perform physical labor when needed
Pay: $20.00 – $28.00 per hour
