Responsibilities
- Safely operate trucks with automatic and manual transmissions, including flatbeds, dump trucks, water trucks and other specialized freight vehicles. Heavy equipment hauling
- Drive route-specific deliveries across local, regional, or long-haul routes while maintaining timely schedules
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours and delivery records in accordance with federal guidelines
- Communicate effectively with Pit Boss regarding route updates, delivery status, or any issues encountered on the road
- Follow all safety protocols related to truck driving, including proper securing of loads and adherence to traffic laws
Experience
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating truck with automatic and manual transmission in various environments
- Prior delivery driver experience handling freight such as flatbed loads, tankers, or specialized trucks is highly desirable
- Knowledge of route driving best practices and safety regulations for commercial trucking
- Experience working with different types of trucks
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks confidently
- Over the Road heavy hauling is highly desired but not required

Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
