Scurlock Transport is a family-owned refrigerated carrier based in Southern Minnesota. We are currently looking to add 2 reliable company drivers to our team. This is a great opportunity for drivers who want consistent miles, strong pay, and to be home every weekend.
Duties
- Safely operate a company-provided tractor-trailer.
- Deliver freight on time while maintaining strong communication.
- Deliver goods to various locations while adhering to scheduled routes and delivery timelines.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, logs, and reports for each trip.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and team members to coordinate deliveries and resolve issues promptly.
- Represent the company professionally with customers and vendors.
Pay & Schedule
- Paid weekly ($/Mile), based on experience.
- Consistent Miles Available
- Home every weekend.
Experience
- Proven experience as a commercial driver with a valid Commercial Class A license.
- Hands-on experience driving tractor-trailers.
- Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers.
- Delivery driver experience involving load & unload procedures in various environments.
- Knowledge of safety regulations related to commercial driving and freight handling.
- Ability to perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks.
