Kendal Floral seeking a Full-Time Driver Class D/C at its distribution center in Salt Lake City, Utah
Our Class C/D Delivery Drivers make $30 per hour (must pass a pre-employment drug test and submit a clean driving record)
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 2:00 am to 10:30 am. Plus one day on-call.
- Deliver to 4 Local stores
- driving a 26 foot Boxed Truck.

Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
- Perform all required safety checks (i.e., pre/post trip) including inspections of tractor/truck and trailer according to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Immediately report any and all safety hazards including repairs required.
- Inspect trailer for properly loaded and secured freight.
- Ensure all required route paperwork is with tractor trailer load and available to driver upon dispatch.
- Safely drive trucks to customers and meet scheduled customer delivery times.
- Verify accuracy of delivery with customers and obtain proper signatures.
- Ensure all equipment and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured at all times.
- Unload all equipment, materials and remove trash from trailers as required.
- Complete daily record of hours of service and enter in log in accordance with Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
What You Bring to the Table
- Register to the FMCSA Clearinghouse.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must have valid Class C or D Driver License.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years issued within the last 30 days.
- Minimum of 3 years truck driving experience (any industry) with the safe operation of 26 feet Boxed trucks.
- Pass pre-employment drug test.
- Pass road test.
- Ability to operate automatic transmission
- Must be able to read and communicate in the English language – able to hold a conversation, to understand highway traffic signs and signals, to respond to official inquiries, and to enter information on reports and records.
- Ability to lift/carry/push/pull 20 to 60+ lbs. of product repetitively during each shift required.
