Job Title: Warehouse Operator / CDL-B Driver
Location: Taunton, MA
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Start time may be earlier on days when driving is required
Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and flexible Warehouse Operator with a valid CDL Class B license to join our team. This role is primarily warehouse-based with backup driving responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing daily needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate sit-down forklift to move, load, and organize materials
- Perform general warehouse duties including receiving, picking, and staging orders
- Serve as a backup CDL-B driver when needed
- Safely transport goods to designated locations when assigned driving routes
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Work Allocation:
- Approximately 70% warehouse work / 30% driving
- Driving duties may increase based on business needs, vacations, and sick coverage
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL Class B license required
- Active DOT medical card required
- Previous warehouse and forklift experience preferred
- Ability to operate a sit-down forklift
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed
Requirements:
- Must pass drug screening and background check
Interview Process:
- Brief on-site walkthrough of the facility
- Meet with team members and management
