Holiday Ice Inc. is seeking dependable, trustworthy, and qualified individuals to deliver packaged ice. Route Drivers use company provided equipment to service established accounts including local convenience stores, gas stations, grocery stores, and various other customers. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Drivers are responsible for delivering product, invoicing and basic communication/interaction with the customer
- Perform pre/post trip inspections
- Responsible for the safe operation, working condition, and inventory of all company equipment, including: handhelds, printers, handcarts, liftgates, and pallet jacks
- Typical day on the job consists of an average of 12-15 deliveries a day
- Drivers are expected to physically unload, deliver, and fill ice merchandisers at customer locations
- Drivers have local routes, which enables them to be home daily
Applicant Qualifications:
- Individual must be able to pass a drug and background screening
- Individual must have a valid class A or B CDL with a current DOT medical card
- A good driving record is required
- Individual must be able to work holidays and weekends during summer months
- Individual must be able to lift 40 lbs. throughout the day
- Must have basic math skills and exceptional customer relations skills
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30,000.00 – $37,500.00 per year
