Position Summary:
The Commercial Truck Driver is responsible for delivering products to customer sites in a safe and timely manner. The driver will operate the newest trucks and equipment in our industry with automatic transmissions. The successful candidate must be able to meet the physical demands of the position while maintaining a positive attitude toward performance and employment.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare truck for delivery by following precise instructions.
- Operate a company truck with automatic transmission.
- Load and unload construction equipment from truck.
- Successfully complete specified driving and safety training requirements.
Ensure correct paperwork is completed and submitted within a timely manner.
- Assist in shop maintenance tasks as assigned.
- Keep vehicle clean.
- Keep accurate logs of work time and activity reports.
- Complete required daily pre-trip inspection documentation.
Experience:
- Must be 21 years of age or older with Class A or B CDL license.
- Minimum of 2 years of possessing a commercial drivers license.
- Must provide clean 3 year MVR history.
- Must complete company job application.
- Must pass pre-employment drug test.
We are looking for applicants from the Fitzgerald area so commuting to work will not be an issue.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour
