Overview
Class A Truck Driver and take the wheel of a versatile fleet to deliver freight efficiently and safely across various routes. Your expertise in commercial driving will ensure timely deliveries while maintaining the highest safety standards.
Duties
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers, including standard transmission trucks.
- Plan and follow efficient routes to meet delivery schedules while adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and route adjustments.
- No touch freight.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Current DMV print out.
- Proven experience operating tractor-trailers.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to truck driving, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance.
- Dependable an respectful of others.
- Capable of performing detailed vehicle inspections and basic troubleshooting.
- Strong communication skills and a commitment to punctuality and safety standards.
