Job Description
21st Century Concrete is looking to add to our high quality, production oriented team at our mining operation in Sheffield, MA. We are a 5th generation aggregates supplier that has been in the business of providing aggregates to the construction industry for over 100 years.
Requirements
· Valid Class A or B CDL. Employer will consider providing Class A training for an otherwise qualified candidate;
· General truck driving skills but heavy and off-road experience is a plus;
· Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented, ability to multitask;
· Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, management and customers;
· Specific experience in aggregates not necessary;
· The ability to perform heavy lifting and physical activity in all weather conditions.
Responsibilities
· Perform NYSDOT and company required truck pre-trip;
· Safely drive and operate tractor trailers/dump trucks as needed;
· Effectively interface with customers on job sites;
· Keeping the exterior and interior of assigned truck clean;
· Following all safety standards as per company polices and OSHA/MSHA regulations.
