Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced (Class A) Dump Truck Driver to join our dynamic construction team. In this vital role, you will operate heavy-duty dump trucks to transport materials across construction sites, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of aggregates, soil, debris, and other materials essential for project progress. Your expertise in commercial driving combined with your knowledge of heavy equipment operation will contribute significantly to the success of our projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your skills to support large-scale infrastructure development.
Duties
- Safely operate (Class A) dump trucks to haul materials such as gravel, dirt, and construction debris across various sites
- Perform pre-trip inspections on trucks and ensure all safety protocols are followed before each shift
- Coordinate with site supervisors and equipment operators to ensure proper delivery schedules and material placement
- Assist with the operation of other heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, and water trucks as needed
- Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, fuel usage, and maintenance records for compliance and reporting purposes
- Conduct routine maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly to minimize downtime
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies to promote a secure work environment
Qualifications
- Valid Class A commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Proven experience operating dump trucks in construction or similar environments
- Mechanical knowledge of heavy equipment including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, tankers, horizontal drilling rigs, and paving machinery
- Strong understanding of construction site safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to operate Caterpillar equipment and other heavy machinery proficiently
- Experience working on large-scale construction projects involving grading, paving, or site development is preferred
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team

Pay: $23.00 – $30.48 per hour
