Location: 7490 Bush Lake Rd, Edina, MN 55439
Winnesota is seeking reliable and motivated Class A CDL Drivers to join our growing transportation team. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, not an employee driver role.
Drivers primarily service routes throughout Minnesota, with occasional deliveries into Wisconsin. We are looking for individuals who value consistency, professionalism, and customer service while maintaining a strong commitment to safety.
Position Overview
This role consists of regional route work with schedules typically running Monday through Friday. Occasional overnight stays may be required to complete DOT-mandated rest periods.
Drivers can expect 40–60 hour work weeks, with the majority of time spent operating a commercial vehicle.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle in compliance with DOT regulations
- Deliver products throughout Minnesota and surrounding areas
- Perform all required pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Load and unload freight using proper equipment and handling procedures
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communication with dispatch
- Provide professional customer service at delivery locations
- Utilize mobile applications and email communication as required
Drivers must have experience using:
- Two-wheelers (hand trucks)
- Pallet jacks
- Liftgates
Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Clean driving record
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening (zero-tolerance policy)
- Articles of Organization
- SS-4 Form (EIN Documentation)
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and maintain a consistent schedule
