Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class A Owner-Operator to join our team. You will be responsible for safely transporting hazmat materials (electrolyte) in ISO tanks on a dedicated long-haul lane from the Port of Long Beach. This position requires 2 years of Class A Hazmat experience and your own semi-truck. Driver should be based in Tennessee or Georgia.
Dedicated Lane:
Pick Up: Long Beach Port, CA.
Drop off: Savannah, GA.
Pay: $12,000 per Round Trip.
Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license with X endorsement (Hazmat & Tanker combination).
– Truck not older than 2016.
– Current Truck IRP and Annual Inspections.
– Experience with computers and E logs (Samsara).
– Complete truck maintenance records.
– Strong knowledge of traffic laws and regulations.
– Excellent communication skills to coordinate deliveries with dispatchers and team members.
– Attention to detail for completing necessary paperwork accurately
Duties:
– Safely operate and maneuver trucks to transport Hazmat Materials
– Follow all traffic Company Policies, laws and regulations while driving.
– Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform routine maintenance.
– Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate deliveries.
– Complete necessary paperwork, such as delivery logs and inspection reports.
– Adhere to company policies and procedures for safety and efficiency.
