Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor-trailer on local routes.
- Efficiently transport and deliver flatbed loads to local customers.
- Properly secure loads using straps, chains, and binders to ensure 100% transport safety.
- Tarp loads occasionally as required by weather or cargo specifications.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
- Manual transmission
Qualifications & Requirements
- License: Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL-A).
- Tractor-Trailer Experience: Minimum of 3 years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience.
- Flatbed Experience: Minimum of 2 years of flatbed driving/hauling experience.
- Skills: Demonstrated knowledge of load securement (straps, chains, and binders) and occasional tarping.
- Gear: Must own and wear steel-toed boots.
- Safety: Clean driving record and solid commitment to road safety.
Schedule:
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday (with occasional weekend availability)
- Local hauling
