Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced and self-motivated Class A CDL truck driver to join our team hauling steel products using flatbed trailers. This position offers excellent earning potential and the flexibility to choose your own loads.
Key Responsibilities
– Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles with flatbed trailers
– Transport steel products and related materials
– Properly secure loads using chains and tarps according to DOT regulations
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
– Maintain accurate logbooks and delivery documentation
– Coordinate effectively with dispatch team
– Ensure compliance with all federal and state transportation regulations
Required Qualifications
– Valid Class A CDL** with minimum 3 years of experience
– Minimum 3 years flatbed trucking experience (steel hauling experience preferred)
– Clean driving record – no major violations
– Proficient in load securement (chaining and tarping)
– Strong communication skills for working with dispatch
– Self-motivated with excellent work ethic
– Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
· Must possess and maintain a high level of integrity and responsibility
Compensation & Benefits
– Competitive pay: 25-30% of gross truck revenue (100K annually but depends on the motivation of the driver)

– Home time varies based on load selection – home most nights possible depending on routes chosen
Physical Requirements
– Ability to lift and secure heavy chains and tarps. Must be able to lift 75 Lbs.
– Capable of working in various weather conditions
– Physical stamina for loading/unloading activities
