We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class A CDL Truck Driver to support our logistics operations. In this role, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods between manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and customer locations while ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and company standards.
Responsibilities
- Transport finished goods and raw materials safely and efficiently
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues; perform preventative maintenance checks
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel/toll receipts
- Utilize electronic systems (GPS, tracking software, etc.) throughout delivery processes
- Comply with all DOT regulations, including hours of service, weight limits, and route restrictions
- Safely maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions
- Verify delivery instructions and documentation
- Report any defects, accidents, or violations promptly
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL
- Hazmat endorsement
- Tanker endorsement
- Experience with long-haul or regional driving
- Proven experience as a truck driver
- Clean driving record (no recent violations)
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Experience using GPS and electronic logging systems
