Job Overview
Tobias Farms Transportation is hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for regional and OTR reefer/dry van work based out of Ashland, Ohio.
We are a small company, not a mega carrier. We are looking for experienced, reliable, independent drivers who want strong pay, flexible runs, and a more personal work environment.
Drivers can earn $1,500–$2,500+ per week, with $3,000+ weeks possible for drivers who want to run hard or stay out longer.
This is a good fit for drivers who do not want to be micromanaged and know how to run professionally.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A tractor-trailer
- Haul refrigerated and dry van freight
- Complete regional and OTR runs as assigned
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain safe, legal, and professional driving habits
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and management
- Pick up and deliver loads on time
- Monitor reefer temperatures when hauling refrigerated freight
- Keep equipment clean and report maintenance issues promptly
- Follow DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork
- Work independently with minimal supervision
- Represent the company professionally with customers and receivers
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years CDL-A experience
- Clean driving record preferred
- Must be reliable
- Must be able to run consistently
- Must communicate well
- Must be able to operate independently
- Reefer experience preferred but not required
- Must take care of equipment
