CDL Class A Truck Driver – Home Daily (Bryan, TX)
Postal Transportation Inc. is seeking reliable CDL Class A drivers to haul U.S. Mail between Bryan, TX and the North Houston Processing & Distribution Center. This is a dedicated route with consistent miles, year-round work, and you’ll be home every day.
Job Responsibilities
- Safely transport U.S. Mail between Bryan, TX and the North Houston Processing & Distribution Center.
- Load and unload U.S. Mail using the appropriate equipment while ensuring the safe and proper handling of all mail and cargo.
- Complete scheduled routes safely, efficiently, and on time.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of tractors and trailers.
- Secure all mail and equipment in accordance with USPS and DOT requirements.
- Comply with all DOT, FMCSA, and USPS regulations and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs and required paperwork.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding route status, delays, or mechanical issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL required.
- Minimum of 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience.
- Must be able to operate a manual (10-speed) transmission. Our trucks are not automatic.
- Clean driving record.
- Must pass a DOT physical and drug screen.
- Must meet USPS background requirements.
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-focused.
Schedule
- Dedicated USPS routes.
- Home daily.
- Night, weekend, and holiday work are required.
