Sawmiller LLC is a manufacturer of Hardwood pallets and industrial lumber. We have been in business since 1979 and are locally owned and operated.
Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a commercial vehicle to transport goods and materials to designated locations
– Follow all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while on the road
– Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or accidents
– Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that may arise
– Adhere to safety protocols and procedures at all times
Requirements:
– Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with the appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle being operated (e.g., Class A for tractor-trailers)
– Proficient in operating manual transmission vehicles
– Knowledge of and compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations governing commercial driving
– Excellent driving record with no major violations or accidents in the past three years
– Strong communication skills to interact effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other drivers
