Join our dynamic team as a Class A CDL Driver and take charge of delivering freight safely, efficiently, and with a focus on customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks with manual transmissions, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and maintenance needs are addressed promptly.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, delivery documentation, and route details in compliance with DOT regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules and resolve any issues that arise on the road.
- Follow all safety protocols related to freight handling, load securing, and vehicle operation to prevent accidents or damages.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience in truck driving
- Ability to tie down loads
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations related to commercial trucking operations.
- Physical ability to perform duties that may include lifting heavy loads and performing vehicle inspections.
- Must pass drug test
- 1099 employee
Pay: $1,200.00 – $1,800.00 per week
