Class A CDL Driver Jobs in Washington, PA at Bluewater, Inc
Bluewater, Inc. Energy Services is actively seeking Class A CDL Drivers in the Washington, PA area.
Oilfield experience highly preferred.
Position is full-time
Requirements:
- Must have at least 2 years experience driving/hauling flat bed, step deck tractor trailers, winch truck experience preferred.
- Must be able to strap and secure loads
- Document and log work/rest periods and miles spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
- Clean MVR (driving record)
- Must be able to pass a drug test
- Comply with DOT regulations
- Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures
- Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues
- Collect and verify delivery instructions
- Report defects, accidents or violations
Skills
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, CB etc)
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly. Driving areas are mainly Tri-State area of PA, WV, and OH. Some overnight travel opportunities.
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations
- Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
