Job Responsibilities
- Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Accurately plan and execute multi-drop deliveries across designated routes within the UK.
- Handle goods with care, ensuring timely and damage-free deliveries to customers.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and obtain customer signatures upon delivery.
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies during operations.
- Communicate effectively with the logistics team and customers to coordinate delivery schedules.
- Report any vehicle issues or delivery discrepancies promptly to management.
Required
Skills & Qualifications
- Valid Class 2 (Cat
C) UK driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.
- Current Digital Tachograph card and Driver CPC certification.
- Previous experience in multi-drop delivery driving preferred.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude when dealing with customers.
- Good knowledge of UK roads and navigation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safety, punctuality, and high-quality service delivery.
