Role summary:
Class 2 Driver (ideally with HIAB experience) for a Builders Merchant.
Responsibilities
- Carry out multi-drop deliveries in the local area to builders merchants and construction sites.
- Operate in a professional manner as the face of the business, maintaining high levels of customer service.
- Utilise HIAB where required (training available if HIAB experience is not with you).
- Adhere to all road safety and compliance requirements and ensure accurate delivery records.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to plan routes within a sensible area to cover.
Requirements
- Valid Class 2 (Category
C) licence required.
- HIAB experience preferred; HIAB training can be provided where needed.
- Experience with multi-drop deliveries and delivering building materials is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills and professional appearance as a representative of the company.
