Overview
Class 2 HGV Driver Thurrock Area. Streamline Recruitment are currently recruiting for experienced Class 2 HGV Drivers on behalf of a well-established and respected business. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional and customer-focused driver looking for a stable, long-term position with a company that values reliability, safety, and high service standards.
Responsibilities
- Completing daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects in line with company procedures
- Carrying out multi-drop deliveries to customer sites across the region
- Assisting with the unloading of products where required
- Ensuring all delivery paperwork and transport documentation is completed accurately
- Providing excellent customer service and maintaining a professional manner at all times
- Adhering to all road transport legislation, driver hours regulations, and health & safety requirements
- Maintaining the cleanliness and roadworthiness of the vehicle
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Class 2 (Category
C) driving experience
- Valid CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
- Previous experience within multi-drop delivery work preferred
- Good geographical knowledge of London and surrounding areas
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious approach to work
- Physically fit and comfortable with occasional manual handling duties
