HGV Class 1 Driver
CTRG Limited are currently recruiting experienced Class 1 HGV Drivers to support trunking operations in the Coventry area.
Role Overview
- Job Type: Full-Time / Potential Temp-to-Perm for the Right Candidate
- Rates: Up to £37.34 per hour
What You’ll Be Doing
- Trunking from A to B
- Assisting FLT drivers with strapping and unstrapping the curtain around the product
- No handballing required
- Full Driving Assessment must be completed
- AM and PM shifts available
- Overtime (After 9 hours)
- 6th shift in a week – Paid at double time
- Potential to be taken on permanently
Pay Rates (Hourly)
Days – LGV CE
Nights – LGV CE
What You’ll Need
- Valid UK C+E (Class
1) licence —
minimum 24 months experience - Valid DCPC &
Digital Tachograph - Understanding of Driver Hours &
Working Time Directive - Ability to complete safety checks and report defects
- Strong communicator with a flexible, can-do attitude
Mandatory Checks
Before starting, all candidates must complete and pass:
- Physical driving assessment
- Drug & alcohol screening
