Responsibilities
- Collect and deliver customers’ products throughout the UK on a curtain‑sided trailer.
- Secure loads with ratchet straps and perform manual handling to ensure each delivery is safe and secure.
- Use a handheld PDA to complete and manage paperwork efficiently.
- Maintain constant contact with the transport team, providing progress updates and ensuring customer expectations are met.
- Experience nights away, adding variety and fulfillment to each journey.
- Participate in regular training sessions to stay current with industry standards and best practices.
Qualifications and Skills
- Hold a valid UK HGV Class 1 CE Licence.
- Possess a current DCPC Card and UK Digital Tachograph Driver Card.
- Demonstrate a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Work efficiently under deadlines.
- Be a confident, polite, and collaborative team player.
- Show excellent geographical knowledge and route planning skills.
