C & L Executive Transportation is looking for CDL Drivers with a Passenger (P) Endorsement to join our growing team! (This is a Part-time position and based to available work

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate 40 to 56-passenger charter buses safely and efficiently.
- Ensure a friendly and enjoyable experience for passengers on all trips.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, keeping safety top of mind.
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety guidelines.
- Here are additional key responsibilities for a CDL driver with a Passenger (P) Endorsement.
- Passenger Assistance: Help passengers with boarding and exiting the bus, particularly those with mobility challenges, luggage, or special needs.
- Route Planning & Navigation: Follow designated routes or plan efficient routes for trips, considering traffic, weather conditions, and safety.
- Time Management: Maintain an accurate schedule, ensuring timely arrival and departure for each trip, adhering to strict timeframes.
- Vehicle Maintenance Checks: Conduct routine inspections of the bus, including brakes, lights, tires, and fluid levels, and report any issues to the maintenance team for repairs.
- Documentation & Paperwork: Complete and maintain accurate logs, including Hours of Service (HOS), trip reports, mileage logs, and inspection checklists, as required by DOT regulations.
- Fuel Management: Monitor fuel usage and ensure the bus is adequately fueled for trips, coordinating refueling as necessary.
- Emergency Preparedness: Stay prepared to handle emergencies, such as medical issues or vehicle breakdowns, by following company protocols and ensuring passenger safety.
- Compliance with Regulations: Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including maintaining up-to-date licensing, medical certifications, and records.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle passenger complaints or conflicts in a professional, courteous manner, ensuring customer satisfaction and a positive company image.
- Driving in Various Conditions: Operate the bus safely in various weather conditions, including rain, snow, and fog, and on different types of roads, such as highways and city streets.
- These responsibilities help ensure both passenger safety and service quality, making them essential for a CDL driver with a P endorsement.
- Must be able to lift 50-pound luggage
Qualifications:
- CDL Class A or B license required (Class A preferred).
- Passenger (P) Endorsement preferred
- Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Great communication skills and a positive, customer-first attitude.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Additional Information:
- Seasonal downtime: Our business experiences busy seasons during peak travel months, with some downtime during the off-season.
- Location: Our depot is based in South Memphis- Memphis, TN. Some trips may require overnight stays or extended travel.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 – $20.00 per hour
