Job Overview
Bundy Trucking is seeking a reliable and professional Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable and uses time management. Pay is discussed upon interview.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a truck safely and in accordance with company policies and traffic laws.
- Respond to dispatched loads.
- Load, secure and transport cargo.
- Communicate with dispatch regarding job status and location updates.
- Ensure loads are properly secured and transported without damage.
- Complete required documentation and logging accurately.
- Maintain cleanliness and daily inspection of truck and equipment.
Requirements
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- Previous Employment History
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass random drug screenings is required.
- Updated medical card required.
- Strong knowledge of safe driving practices.
- Ability to work independently and follow dispatch instructions.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to work days and evenings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous trucking & driving experience.
- Experience operating a flatbed truck.
- Knowledge of load securement and pre-trip inspections.
- Familiarity with GPS and dispatch software. (Learning to navigate new or pre-existing dispatch software will be mandatory)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to bend, kneel, climb, and perform physical tasks required for loading and securing.
Work Environment
Truck Drivers frequently work outdoors and may be subject to weather conditions. Safety awareness and professionalism are essential.
