Pay: $27.00 – $29.00 per hour
Job description:
About the route
- Dedicated refrigerated run: local farms ➜ Monticello, NY (Upstate) ➜ return with supplies.
- Typical shift: 10–12 hours, home every day
- Tuesday-Friday
- No major holidays
What you’ll do
- Safely operate tractor–trailer (manual & automatic)
- Pick up eggs from farms and deliver on time; secure freight and protect product quality
- Monitor and record reefer temperatures; adjust setpoints as needed
- Complete proper pre- and post-trip inspections and report defects
- Handle paperwork accurately (BOLs, delivery receipts, ELD logs)
- Communicate clearly with dispatch, customers, and dock staff
- Load/unload as needed (careful handling of freight)
- Able to lift at least 50lbs.
- Applicant must be able to work the days and hours assigned
What you need
- Valid Class A CDL
- 1+ year verifiable tractor-trailer experience (reefer a plus)
- Working knowledge of DOT rules & ELDs; safety-first mindset
- MUST be able to drive 13 speed manual transmission
- Clean, professional communication and reliability
