Job Summary
URGENTLY HIRING our drivers average $2,800 take home pay. Class A CDL drivers On average our drivers make between $2500 to $3,500 a week dry van OTR. We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating dry van types of trucks, including tractor-trailers. This role involves route driving, transporting freight safely and efficiently, and ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and drive tractor-trailer combination
- Perform route driving to deliver freight to designated locations while following all traffic laws and regulations.
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and mileage.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise during transport.
- Operate automatic transmission vehicles as needed, demonstrating proficiency in driving skills.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license ( CLASS A CDL) is required.
- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailer combinations.
- Familiarity with route driving and freight transportation logistics.
- Ability to load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
- 6 experience required
- 1 year experience preferred
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial driving.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
