Schedule: Typical work week of approximately 45 hours, including overtime as business needs require.
Enviro Arbor Solutions (EAS) is seeking an experienced CDL Grapple Truck Operator to operate our brand-new 2026 Freightliner 114SD Rear-Mount Grapple Truck equipped with an automatic transmission.
EAS is a growing utility vegetation management company serving electric utilities throughout New England. We specialize in right-of-way clearing, hazard tree removal, storm restoration, and utility vegetation management. We invest in modern equipment and great people to deliver safe, high-quality work for our utility customers.
Most work is based in the Manchester, NH area, with occasional day trips or overnight assignments to the Greenfield, MA and Hartford, CT areas.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate a rear-mount grapple truck and loader.
- Load, transport, and unload logs, brush, wood chips, and other vegetation debris.
- Support utility vegetation management, right-of-way clearing, and tree removal operations.
- Perform daily DOT inspections and routine preventive maintenance.
- Grease equipment, check fluids, and maintain the truck in clean, safe operating condition.
- Identify and report mechanical or safety concerns promptly.
- Work safely and efficiently while maintaining production goals.
- Assist field crews with job site cleanup when necessary.
- Maintain accurate vehicle inspection reports and daily paperwork.
- Assist with emergency storm restoration work throughout New England when needed.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B License required (Class A preferred).
- Air Brake Endorsement required.
- Experience operating grapple trucks, knuckle boom cranes, forestry equipment, log loaders, or similar heavy equipment preferred.
- Clean and safe driving record.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and commitment to safety.
- Utility vegetation management or tree industry experience is a plus, but not required.
