Job Summary
We are seeking an EXPERIENCED Dump Truck Driver to join our team. Pay is determined by experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting materials to and from construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient operation of dump trucks. This role requires a strong understanding of heavy equipment operation, as well as the ability to navigate construction sites effectively.
Duties
- Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as gravel, sand, and limestone to various job sites.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while driving and operating equipment.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure they are in safe working condition.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed, ensuring proper weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate records of materials transported and any incidents that occur during operations.
Requirements
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required.
- Age requirement at least 21 years
- 2 YEARS Experience in commercial driving, particularly in dump truck operations, is required.
- Familiarity with construction site protocols and safety practices is essential.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting minor vehicle issues is beneficial.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to changing job site conditions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
