What You’ll Do

As a Site Work Crew Member, you will play a key role in preparing and building the foundation of complex landscape construction projects. You will work hands-on with a skilled crew to deliver safe, accurate, and high-quality site development work.

Responsibilities include:

Operate heavy equipment and perform excavation for residential and commercial projects

Prepare sites accurately for all trades using construction math calculations

Make sound decisions in the best interests of customers and the company

Support layout and installation of footings, drainage systems, and site infrastructure

Read blueprints and assist with site layout and grading

Measure and set grades using a laser transit (preferred experience)

Maintain a strong focus on safety, workmanship, and production goals

Follow and enforce all safety protocols on job sites

What You Bring

Required Qualifications:

Heavy equipment operation and excavation experience

CDL Class A or Class B license

Valid driver’s license

1-3 years of site work experience

Ability to commute to Round Lake, NY 12151

Strong commitment to safety and safe work practices

Ability to work effectively as part of a crew in a hands-on environment

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience laying out and installing footings, drainage, and infrastructure for landscape construction projects

Ability to read and interpret blueprints

Experience measuring and setting grades with a laser transit

Working knowledge of construction math and site layout principles

Work Schedule and Location

Full-time position

Day shift

Monday to Friday

10-hour shifts

Work location: In person (Round Lake, NY 12151)

Compensation

Pay: $28.00 – $30.00 per hour
