Job Overview

You’ll operate a 379 Peterbilt truck pulling a end dump trailer, ensuring timely and secure deliveries in TN/AL/GA. Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions across assigned routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for each trip, including route details and delivery confirmations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards
- Manage route driving schedules effectively to meet delivery deadlines while prioritizing safety
- Communicate proactively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delays, or issues encountered during deliveries
Experience / Requirements
- Proven truck driving experience with a valid CDL license.
- Have clean driving record.
- Drug screening required.
- Hands-on experience with freight handling, load & unload procedures, and route driving in various truck types such as flatbeds or dump trucks
- Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and tractor-trailer operations
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving, including DOT regulations and vehicle inspections
- Prior delivery driver experience in a fast-paced environment is highly desirable
