CDL Driver – End Dump & Cement Tanker Operations Jobs in Tulsa, OK at Oklahoma Precast
Oklahoma Precast is a leading manufacturer of precast concrete products serving Oklahoma and the surrounding region. We are seeking a dependable and experienced CDL Driver to support our manufacturing operations by transporting raw materials and operating specialized equipment used in concrete production.
This position is responsible for hauling sand, rock, cement, and other materials necessary for production while maintaining the highest standards of safety, equipment care, and professionalism.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Safely operate end dump trailers and cement tanker equipment.
- Transport sand, rock, cement, and other raw materials to support plant operations.
- Load, unload, and deliver materials in a safe and efficient manner.
- Operate a cement pump truck or be willing to learn its operation through company-provided training.
- Fill and maintain cement silos throughout the workday to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections and accurately document findings.
- Monitor vehicle condition and report maintenance concerns promptly.
- Comply with all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
- Maintain clean equipment and work areas.
- Assist with other transportation and material-handling duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL (Commercial Driver’s License).
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
- Minimum of 5 years of end dump driving experience required.
- Experience hauling aggregate materials such as sand, rock, and similar bulk products preferred.
- Experience operating cement tanker equipment preferred.
- Experience operating a cement pump truck is preferred; willingness to learn is required.
- Clean driving record with no major violations.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
- Experience conducting and documenting daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Dependable, safety-focused, and capable of working independently.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to climb ladders, access trailers, and perform vehicle inspections.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials and equipment as needed.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to safely enter and exit trucks multiple times throughout the day.
Schedule
- Full-time position.
- Monday through Friday.
- No overtime required.
- Home daily.
