About the Opportunity
We’re looking for a dependable, safety-focused Class B CDL Driver to join a growing transportation and environmental services team in Anchorage. This is year-round work with solid earning potential through a base pay plus commission structure. You’ll operate commercial vehicles, service customer locations, and handle equipment and materials — motivated, hands-on drivers have real room to grow their earnings here.
What You’ll Do
- Drive Class B commercial vehicles on local and regional routes
- Service customer locations — transport, pump, haul, and handle related field work
- Complete pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections
- Secure loads and stay DOT/FMCSA compliant
- Keep driver logs, inspection reports, manifests, and other paperwork current
- Communicate with dispatch on schedules, delays, and job status
- Load, unload, and pitch in on general labor as part of daily ops
- Help with vehicle cleaning, equipment upkeep, and yard work when needed
- Report mechanical issues, accidents, or safety concerns right away
- Provide solid customer service and keep a professional appearance
- Follow company safety policies and regulatory requirements
What You’ll Need
- A valid Class B CDL
- Current DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate
- A clean driving record
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen, background check, and any required security clearance
- Working knowledge of DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Comfort working outdoors in all conditions, including snow, ice, and cold
- Strong work ethic and ability to handle physical labor
- Good communication and time management
Nice to Have
- Class A CDL
- Confined Space Certification
- Experience with vacuum trucks, septic trucks, or similar equipment
- HazMat, Tanker, or other CDL endorsements
- Familiarity with Alaska roadways and remote work environments
