CDL Driver – Class B Jobs in Norwood, MA at OC Staffing & Solutions
Are you a dependable CDL Class B driver who enjoys staying active and providing excellent customer service? We’re looking for a motivated Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate to join our team! This is a hands-on position that combines local deliveries with warehouse responsibilities. Every day is different, and you’ll play a key role in keeping our customers supplied and satisfied.
What You’ll Do
- Safely operate a CDL Class B commercial vehicle while maintaining full DOT compliance.
- Deliver batteries to customers throughout New Hampshire and Northern Massachusetts.
- Pick up used battery cores and return them to the warehouse.
- Plan efficient daily delivery routes to ensure on-time service.
- Load and unload heavy batteries and materials (55+ lbs. repeatedly).
- Stock customer shelves and assist with product organization.
- Complete warehouse duties including shipping, receiving, inventory, and general housekeeping.
- Build positive relationships with customers by providing outstanding service.
- Educate customers on current promotions and identify potential sales opportunities.
- Accurately complete delivery paperwork, logs, and customer documentation.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B License required.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Minimum 1 year of CDL driving experience.
- Excellent driving record with strong DOT compliance history.
- Ability to repeatedly lift and move 55+ lbs. throughout the day.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to safety.
- Customer service experience is a plus.
