We are seeking a motivated and experienced CDL Driver A- Class Shuttle Position to join our dynamic transportation team! In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating commercial trucks to shuttle freight, equipment, and materials between designated locations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial trucks with manual transmissions, including tractor-trailers, flatbeds, refrigerated trailers, tankers, dump trucks, roll-off trucks, and other freight vehicles.
- Load and unload freight efficiently using forklifts or manual methods while adhering to safety protocols.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure compliance with safety regulations and vehicle maintenance standards.
- Drive route-specific shuttles between designated locations, ensuring on-time pickups and deliveries while navigating urban and rural areas.
- Maintain accurate logs of mileage, fuel consumption, delivery times, and route details in compliance with company policies and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route updates, delays, or issues encountered during shifts.
- Follow all safety procedures related to driving heavy-duty vehicles, handling freight securely, and operating specialized equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating large trucks with manual transmissions in a commercial setting.
- Prior delivery driver experience preferred; ability to load & unload cargo efficiently.
- Knowledge of route driving best practices along with navigation skills for urban and rural areas.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to commercial trucking and transportation operations.

Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
