Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site CDL Driver role based in Sacramento, CA. The CDL Driver will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of goods, adhering to company and regulatory standards. Daily tasks include vehicle inspections, route planning, loading and unloading freight, and ensuring on-time deliveries. Drivers should maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with clients and adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL license with a clean driving record
- Knowledge of transportation safety regulations and procedures
- Experience with vehicle maintenance checks and basic troubleshooting
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks like loading and unloading freight
- Previous experience in logistics or freight delivery is a plus
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
