CDL Class B Delivery Driver Jobs in Dunbar, PA at Courtesy Oil
Home heating oil delivery driver. Requires Class B CDL with tanker, air brake and HazMat endorsements. Employer will help obtain HazMat endorsement if necessary. The job demands a capable and dedicated driver who is able to drive a standard transmission and the ability to interact professionally with customers. Reliability is a must. Hauling is primarily to residential customers filling heating oil tanks with fuel oil and kerosene and some hauling of diesel and gasoline to commercial businesses. Knowledge of Fayette County is beneficial, but not absolutely necessary with the advent of GPS. Detailed, hands-on training will be provided with pumping fuel into customers’ homes. The workday starts at 7am and finishes usually no later than 6pm during heating season (November thru April). In the summer time when hauling is limited, the driver may choose either short days or finishing days at the garage doing general truck maintenance or performing odd jobs to obtain their 40 hours per week. Starting pay is $26/hour. Benefits include health insurance, paid holidays and 2 weeks paid vacation. A sign-on bonus will be discussed at interview.
