We are now hiring a full-time CDL A TEAM driver in Savannah, GA.

Do you have a Class A CDL and an impeccable safety record? Liberty Transportation, Inc. is immediately hiring Class A CDL – FedEx Ground Team Truck Drivers! We are looking for dedicated and professional truck drivers to handle unassigned, Over-the-Road FedEx Ground runs from the Savannah area safely and efficiently!
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
- Clean MVR and background preferred
- Willing to travel to Savannah/Jacksonville to start runs
- Must be able to drive a manual transmission and have no restrictions.
- Must have 1 year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience within the last 3 years.
- Must pass a background check.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)—no accidents or tickets in the past 3 years.
- Must have or be ready to attain a doubles/triples endorsement.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.
- Complete background check, MVR screening, Clearinghouse login, and drug test.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Operate tractor-trailer combination, including doubles (and triples, where applicable).
- Perform daily pre-trip/post-trip and safety inspections on equipment.
- Drop & Hook Only. No-touch Freight!
- Verify and complete required documentation and reports.
- Maintain accurate daily logs.
- Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch regarding delays, arrivals, and equipment issues.
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies/procedures.
- Perform other duties as required.
PAY AND BENEFITS:
- Pay : $1,500 weekly minimum guarantee (if available at least 5 days)
- Paid mileage: .40 CPM
- $80/day per diem
