We’re hiring full-time Class A CDL drivers for Solo Overnight Runs in and around Plattsburgh, NY.
We are immediately hiring Class A CDL Truck Drivers! We are looking for dedicated and professional truck drivers to handle fixed Solo overnight PM runs.
What You’ll Do –
- Operate a tractor-trailer combination, including doubles (and triples, where applicable)
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on equipment
- Drop & Hook Only – No-touch freight
- Verify and complete required documentation and reports
- Maintain accurate daily logs
- Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch (delays, arrivals, equipment problems)
- Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies/procedures
- Perform other duties as required
Pay & Benefits –
- Weekly pay (Friday)
- Safety training while employed and safety meetings

- Typical work night: 9–10 hours (depending on lane)
- Typical miles driven each day: 480 – 600 miles per night (depending on lane)
Requirements –
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
- 1 year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience within the last 3 years
- Drivers must be able to work overnight shifts
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record – No accidents or tickets in the past 3 years
- Pass background check, MVR screening, Clearinghouse login, and drug test
- Ability to attain doubles/triples trailer endorsement
- Ability to follow instructions and complete required training
- Schedule – 5 days per week (some Sundays required)
- Start Time: Overnight shifts at 7:00 PM or 8:00 PM
Route Details –
- Terminal-to-terminal routes (occasionally one additional stop)
- Drivers haul double trailers
- Majority highway driving
