Overview
Join our team as a CDL Class A Truck Driver and take charge of delivering fabricated loads of pipe and fittings across diverse routes. In this vital role, you’ll operate tractor-trailers equipped with automatic or manual transmissions hauling flatbed loads. Your expertise will ensure safe, timely deliveries while maintaining excellent customer service.
Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers with automatic or manual transmissions across assigned routes, adhering to all safety regulations and company policies
- Secure flatbed loads
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT standards
- Manage route driving schedules to meet delivery deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency and safety
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to coordinate pickups and deliveries
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, cargo documentation, and inspection reports in compliance with federal regulations
Requirements
- Valid CDL Class A license with a clean driving record
- Proven experience in commercial driving, especially in tractor-flatbed trailer operations
- Ability to secure varying load types, shapes and sizes
- Strong knowledge of route planning, delivery procedures, and safety protocols
- Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and efficiency during long-haul or local deliveries
- Physical ability to perform inspections, secure cargo, and handle truck equipment as needed
Will be home most weekends, with occasional weekend work. Pay DOE.
Pay: $0.60 – $0.75 per mile
