Overview
Join our dynamic team as a part of our Manhole Rehabilitation Crew. In this energetic role, you will operate specialized trucks to transport equipment trailers and materials to different jobsites daily throughout the DMV area. Driver will work with the Manhole lining crew ensuring that all equipment on the trailer is ready to operate when onsite. As a crew member you will need to participate in daily activities alongside the crew. Some of these activities could be traffic flagging, assisting crew members with tools, and housekeeping. Drivers will also be required to maintain and clean not only the truck but the trailer so it will be in daily good working order for the next activity.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate truck and trailer, including dump trucks, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations.
- Load and unload pallets of product and drums using mechanical equipment or manual effort as needed.
- Drive heavy-duty trucks through urban and rural routes to deliver and pick up containers at various construction sites.
- Perform routine inspections of vehicles before and after shifts to identify maintenance needs or safety issues.
- Perform Routine maintenace such as washing and greasing the vehicle weekly. To include specialized trailers.
- Assist with loading and securing loads on trucks to prevent spillage or accidents during transit.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, fuel usage, and vehicle maintenance logs.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate schedules and resolve any operational issues promptly.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL A) with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
- Mechanical knowledge of truck systems for basic troubleshooting and maintenance awareness.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in outdoor environments.
- Experience with pumps and hydraulic systems a plus.
- Strong driving skills with a focus on safety, load handling, and route navigation.
- Prior delivery driver experience in sewer line rehabilitation or similar industries is highly desirable.
Pay: $25.00 – $32.00 per hour
