POSITION SUMMARY:
DRS Product Returns LLC. is looking for an experienced CDL Class A truck driver to be based in our Alcoa, TN location. The routes covered will be nationwide. DRS retrieves product from designated locations all over the United States. Drivers will also deliver various product to customers as needed. The driver will act as a representative of DRS Product Returns and will be expected to act in a professional manner at all times.
Truck Driver Pay & Benefits
Full-time CDL drivers are eligible for:
· Potential $90,000 + per year
· Quarterly bonuses up to $6,000 annually
· $0.50/mile driven
· $20 per stop
· $50 for layover pay
· $75 monthly cell phone allowance
· Average 2,500+ miles per week.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Valid CDL license (Class A)
· Clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Driving Record)
· Previous Class A Driving Experience
· Clean DOT Drug & Alcohol Screen
· Valid Medical Examination Certificate
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer Pickups:
· Verify correct pick-up location.
· Maintains cleanliness of the Tractor and Trailer.
· Conducts pre-trip, post trip and period inspections of tractor & trailer.
· Properly completes all paperwork related to pick up and submit to Traffic Manager upon return to the DRS regional center.
Deliveries:
· Verifies correct number of pallets are loaded onto trailer.
· Maintains cleanliness of trailer.
· Conducts pre-trip, post trip and period inspections of tractor & trailer.
· Ensure that all necessary paper work for the delivery of product is completed and submitted to the facility Warehouse Manager.
· Maintains accurate and legal driver logs for all on or off duty status.
· Make only scheduled stops and pickups as scheduled by the Transportation Coordinator.
· Maintain accurate reports with receipts for authorized expenses for reimbursement.
· Ensure no additional passengers are within the cab of the tractor.
· Uses tractor/trailer for official company business only.
· Complies with DOT, State and Local regulations and company policies.
