CDL Class A Route Driver Jobs in Buffalo, NY at Optimum Logistic Solutions
Responsibilities
- Earn $26.95/HR
- Shift Differential: +$0.25/hr after 2 PM, +$0.25/hr after 10 PM
- Saturday Pay: $27.20/HR for entire shift
- Direct Hire!!!
- Biweekly Pay with Overtime after 40 hours (1.5x pay)
- Steady, consistent hours with long-term stability
- Schedule: Monday–Friday (or Tuesday–Saturday based on business needs)
- Start times vary:
- First Shift: 5:00 AM – 8:00 AM
- Second Shift: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM
- Work 8+ hour shifts
- Operate a Day Cab with 40’–53’ Dry Van (automatic)
- Touch Freight Required
- Deliver healthcare linen products and laundry services
- Load and unload rolling carts (up to 800 lbs on wheels)
- Provide excellent customer service at medical facilities
- Maintain professional appearance and communication
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and maintain DOT compliance
- Follow assigned routes and maintain delivery schedules
- Perform daily/weekly paperwork and inspections
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
- Valid Class A CDL
- Minimum 24 months of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Must be 23 years or older
- Ability to push/pull carts up to 800 lbs (on wheels)
- Ability to lift 25 lbs overhead
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, twist, and climb stairs for extended periods (up to 10 hours)
- Must have a clean driving record
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and flexible schedules
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to read and speak English
- Commitment to safety, reliability, and punctuality
- Must pass a DOT Drug Screen, Physical, and Background Check
