CDL Class A Driver Rollback Jobs in Huntsville, AL at Valley Equipment Rental
Responsibilities:
– Safely and efficiently operate a rollback, truck and trailer, all class A trucks
– Load and unload materials using forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed.
– Transport goods and materials to designated locations in a timely manner.
– Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the truck.
– Inspect vehicles before and after each trip, reporting any maintenance or repair needs.
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption.
– Communicate with dispatchers and team members to coordinate schedules and routes.
Qualifications:
– Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL)
– Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role.
– Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts is a plus.
– Strong knowledge of traffic laws and safety regulations.
– Excellent time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
– Good communication skills to interact with team members and dispatchers.
– Physical stamina to handle loading/unloading and long hours on the road.
This job is a local equipment delivery position where you will be home each night. You will be loading and unloading rental equipment such as skid steers, excavators, rollers, boom lifts, forklifts, and items similar.
