CDL Class A Driver – Local NC Hauls | Home Daily | Weekly Pay
Boone & Grandson Trucking LLC is seeking an experienced, dependable, and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver for local North Carolina hauling operations. Drivers will primarily haul logs to local mills and may also be assigned drop-and-hook freight opportunities as available.
The company provides the truck, fuel, and operating equipment. Drivers are not required to provide their own vehicle or cover fuel expenses.

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a company-owned Class A commercial vehicle
- Transport logs and other assigned freight to designated locations
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety policies
- Maintain accurate logs and required documentation
- Report maintenance or safety concerns promptly
- Represent the company in a professional manner
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- Current DOT Medical Card
- Minimum of 3 years of verifiable Class A CDL driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Certified Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) required (NCDOT.gov)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
- Strong commitment to safety, reliability, and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous log hauling experience preferred
- Experience with drop-and-hook operations is a plus
- Knowledge of North Carolina roadways and mill locations
