We are seeking an experienced CDL Class A Driver / Equipment Operator to join our construction team. This position is primarily responsible for transporting equipment and materials to job sites, operating heavy equipment, and supporting overall construction operations. The ideal candidate has experience hauling equipment, operating excavation machinery, and working safely in a fast-paced construction environment.
Duties
- Safely operate company dump trucks and pickup trucks with equipment and material trailers.
- Transport construction equipment, materials, stone, and supplies to and from job sites.
- Load, unload, secure, and transport heavy equipment in accordance with DOT regulations.
- Operate excavators, skid steers, compactors, loaders, and other construction equipment.
- Assist with site preparation, excavation, grading, backfilling, and material handling.
- Support construction crews during various phases of swimming pool installation, including site preparation, material movement, equipment operation, and general jobsite support.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections on trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Complete required vehicle inspection reports and maintain accurate logs and maintenance documentation.
- Work closely with field supervisors and crew members to ensure projects remain on schedule.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site while following all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
- Assist with general construction activities as needed.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License (Required).
- Clean driving record.
- Experience operating dump trucks and towing equipment trailers.
- Experience operating excavators, skid steers, loaders, or similar heavy equipment.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physical labor and lift 50+ pounds.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Construction, excavation, utility, or sitework experience preferred.

Experience
- CDL Class A Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
- Equipment Operation: 1 year (Preferred)
- Construction or Excavation: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification
- CDL Class A – Interstate License (Required)
Pay: $28.00 – $35.00 per hour
