Job Overview
Reno Rendering Company, a family-owned business serving Northern Nevada for over 100 years, is seeking a dependable and safety-focused CDL Class A Driver to join our operations team. This CDL Class A Driver position is responsible for operating pumper trucks and completing assigned routes that support our recycling and rendering services.
This role is ideal for a CDL Class A Driver who values consistency, teamwork, and long-term employment with a stable company.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate CDL Class A pumper trucks on assigned routes
- Collect, pump, and transport:
- Used cooking oil
- Grease interceptor waste
- Fat and bone (meat scraps)
- Deadstock materials
- Perform safe loading, unloading, and pumping procedures
- Complete daily routes efficiently while maintaining DOT compliance
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintain company equipment to company standards
- Accurately complete logs, route paperwork, and reports
- Represent Reno Rendering Company professionally with customers and partners
Schedule & Work Environment
- Typical start time: 2:00 AM
- Most routes are local
- Occasional overnight trip (approximately once per month)
- Physically active role requiring lifting, material handling, and outdoor work
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A Driver license
- Acceptable driving record
- Ability to meet physical demands of the job
- Dependable, punctual, and safety-oriented
- Willingness to work early mornings, overtime, and occasional overnight routes
