We are seeking a reliable and experienced Truck Driver to transport goods and materials safely and efficiently, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Driving: Operate a commercial motor vehicle safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Logistics: Plan routes, meet delivery schedules, and coordinate with dispatchers to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Loading/Unloading: Assist with loading and unloading cargo, ensuring it is properly secured and balanced.
- Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, report any mechanical issues, and maintain vehicle cleanliness.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel expenses, and ensure all paperwork is complete.
- Safety: Follow all safety procedures and regulations, report any accidents or incidents, and prioritize safety at all times.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members.
Requirements:
- CDL: Possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with appropriate endorsements.
- Clean Driving Record: Have a clean driving record with no recent moving violations.
- Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of trucking rules and regulations.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, climb in and out of the vehicle, and stand for extended periods.
- Skills: Strong communication skills, ability to follow directions, and ability to work independently.
- Other: Willing to submit to background and drug checks.
